TOM NEWELL

Tom Newell founded Camano Capital in 2018. Tom works with Camano’s portfolio companies and is involved in the originating, structuring and due diligence of new investment opportunities. Tom has more than 20 years of business and transactional experience, including roles as an entrepreneur, investment banker and operating executive working with businesses in the consumer space. Prior to founding Camano Capital, Tom was a Partner at Greene Holcomb Fisher, a middle-market investment bank in Minneapolis focused on consumer M&A transactions. Tom was recognized as one of the top-40 investment bankers under the age of 40 by The M&A Advisor magazine and was included in The Puget Sound Business Journal “40 Under 40” list.

Tom is a graduate of Yale University (BA) and the University of Washington (JD).

TAYLOR HANSON

Taylor works with our portfolio companies and is involved in the originating and due diligence of new investment opportunities. Prior to Camano Capital, Taylor worked in the National Basketball Association with the Utah Jazz as an operations assistant. Taylor also has prior experience as an investment banker with BMO Capital Markets and Greene Holcomb Fisher, where he advised clients through numerous M&A transactions.

Taylor is a graduate of Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota (BA).

TAYLOR FISH

Taylor joined Camano in 2019 and works on new investment due diligence, new business development and portfolio management. Prior to joining Camano Capital, Taylor worked for Tonka Bay Equity Partners, a lower-middle market private equity firm focused on investing in distribution, service and manufacturing companies.  Taylor has prior experience as an investment banker with Greene Holcomb Fisher, where he worked with founder-owned businesses on various M&A activities.  Taylor began his career with Deloitte’s audit practice in Minneapolis.

Taylor is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, Minnesota (BA).  He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
